How to Use Electronic Cigarettes to Quit Smoking

1) Set realistic expectations. If you are a heavy smoker, it is unlikely that you will switch over seamlessly and not experience any difference. Another good option is to buy disposable e cigarettes. These allow you multiple uses so you can try out e cigarettes without a huge commitment.

5) Reduce your nicotine gradually. If you’re interested in reducing your overall reliance on nicotine as well as your reliance on cigarettes, you may want to start with a regular nicotine dose and gradually work your way down to low nicotine or even no nicotine e cigarettes. If you feel ready to go cold turkey, you can try no nicotine electronic cigarettes. They will give you a similar experience as traditional cigarettes – and even the flavor of tobacco if you so choose – but without the nicotine punch.

If you have been smoking for some time, choosing e cigs with quality tobacco flavors will help mimic the taste and smell of traditional cigarettes, which may make it easier for you to make the switch.
